Preparation

It’s been weeks since BLushcon2024 happened. I wanted to make the fanbook available online but I could not decide which platform to use. I wanted to make it available on shopee, however,  because of the new BIR regulation, before you can sell there, you have to get yourself registered. I didn’t really  think that far when I thought of wanting to self-publish, so I just don’t know what will happen in that regard.

I made accounts on different platforms like bigcartel, etsy, and even ecwid, but I don’t think they are suited for me. I thought that maybe etsy would be beneficial for me, but in the end I could not push through with it. If I would go with the other two, I would have to pay for them. It would be financially burdensome for me if I did that since I have been planning to upgrade this blog some time in the future.

In the end I decided to go with Kofi.

Why Kofi

I thought Kofi suited my resources and what I temporarily desire right now. I just want a shop where I can make my projects available to people without me spending a lot of money maintaining it. Since Kofi allows physical items and lets you add a decent number of pictures of your product, I thought, why not? So I just went with it.

Thank you for your interest! 😀
