Busy Weekend

I don’t have Saturdays so I have time for myself. I usually just chill on weekends or draw for my pieces. Last weekend though, I randomly layouted a booklet full of my drawings from 2021 to 2024. 

This April I’m planning to participate in an artist alley with my friend, so I have to put together some merch. I was thinking about it. There is also that piece I haven’t yet finished for a zine I am participating in. It is almost finished but I’m having a crisis at the moment.  Probably to run away from responsibilities my brain decided to put together a booklet of my past drawings! 

Honestly, I have been thinking of making this kind of booklet to compile my works, and maybe add this as a freebie to the fanbook I am planning to put out this year.  Making a fanzine/fanbook is one of my number one goals this year! 

I’m really excited! My energy though is a bit eh but at least I am starting. 

 Because I had been too focused on it, the booklet is close to being done. All I have to do is make the cover page and it’s good to go. It can be exhibited in April if it can be printed soon. Imagine! I work fast. I still have to contact the printing service my friend suggested to me regarding printing it though!  Initially I made it on canva but I changed to clip studio.  I am not satisfied with the exported pdf version though. The 3D binding preview on clip studio is all right and it looks really great, and yet when it is exported to pdf, some of the art has problems. It’s disappointing, but I’ll see what I can do.

As I’ve mentioned earlier, the only thing missing is the cover page. I’ve already chosen what to do with the cover. Considering that it is just a compilation of my past works, I just went with a simple one. I hope it’ll turn out well. 😀

While looking forward to printing the zine, I was also thinking of how to market it to people. I’ve decided to make it as part of my merch catalogue in April. I hope I can go. Huhuhuh.
